Pattern Sizing: I sized it for ready to wear size 10
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Close but the model is probably size 0, and I am not!!!!
Were the instructions easy to follow? Since I drafted the pattern the instructions made sense to me
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I first made this in a test polyester print fabric which was much easier to work with than the silk organza and polyester charmeuse. I worked out the fit issues with the first "muslin".
Fabric Used: The top layer is a silk organza with metallic dots from MOOD fabrics @ $10.00 per yard. The under layer and lining are polyester charmeuse from fabric.com at $4.98 per yard. The colors worked perfectly together
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: The design changes - reduced the skirt fullness and increased the halter top coverage.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I love my "muslin" version as it has a casual feel with a cotton tie sash. This version is dressy and has more of an evening wear feel. I will make it again as it is a comfortable and unique summer dress.
