This is my second time making this shirt. I made it for the first time last year, but never got to wear it because the fabric shredded in the wash when I washed it after I finished making it. It was good that I managed to take pictures and write a review for it. Here is my review for that shirt.

I decided to make it again, first because I liked the fit and wanted a shirt like that in my wardrobe, and second because, after taking a longer break from sewing, I needed a project that was tried before and gave good results.

I made the same alterations like the first time, the most important being that I used the collar from the M6696 dress (it is narrower and I like it better). I even forgot to shorten the shoulder line like the first time. Am I consistent, or what?

The fabric is a cotton in a very busy print that doesn't show the pattern details too well, but I like the overall look.

The most difficult part was, again, attaching the collar. I am happy with how it turned out, but while working on it, I wondered how many shirts does it take to make attaching collars a comfortable task.

I really like this blouse. The fit is great and the floral pattern is so cheerful. The collar looks great but I feel your pain making about mastering that step :)

Really like your top. Like the first one too. Hope this one doesn't shredd in the wash after all that hard work : )
