| Karla Kizer | 6/26/05 | I made a long version this dress for my DD when she was in high school, and it was one of her favorites. Later, I combined it with the Textile Studios Basic dress to make a slimmer-fitting, short version for her. It's a very versatile, reliable pattern. And I LOVE the fabric you used. The simplicity of the dress lets the print play the starring role. Very nice, Peggy. |

| 2BSewing | 6/27/05 | Your dress is wonderful and I like the fabric you used. I will definitely have to try...view C, but a longer version. I think the higher neckline for this KS pattern is more comfortable. Great job and thanks for showing us another view. Can wait to see more pics! |

| penelope | 6/27/05 | No zipper? Simple, cool, no gaping armholes? With your interesting fabric, this is an attractive pattern. Thanks for the review. |

| Linda L | 6/27/05 | Lovely summer dress. Glad to read that it does not look like a sack, which sometimes mine do. May have to look further at this pattern. |

| Peggy L | 6/28/05 | Thanks everyone! I wore this to work today and will post pics (very amateur!) when I get home tonight. I stopped at CVS for batteries and got a compliment from the salesclerk and from two of my coworkers as soon as I walked in the door. That's certainly a boost to start the day! |

| Debe | 6/28/05 | I'm glad to see a photo of you in the dress. It looks great on you, much better than the pattern drawings. That fabric is perfect for a summer dress. (A "shift" is what my mom always called a simple dress like this one.) |
