Pattern Description: Ottobre Women's buttondown sleeveless blouse. Shoulder yoke, collar stand and collar, pocket on the left side of blouse covering bust dart.

Pattern Sizing:34-52

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes!

Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I like that there are only 7 pattern pieces, which were all easy to find and trace. I also like that there are bust darts, making it a little more fitted. The armholes are a nice size--not too tight, nor do they come too low exposing a bra.

Fabric Used:It is a cotton print, but since this was a gift, I am not certain if it is a blend. It is very lightweight but not sheer.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:Since I am petite, I removed 5 inches from the length. After tracing the pattern, I could see that it would be very long on me.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?I will definitely be sewing this blouse again. I have some cotton lawn fabric in a variety of prints that I will be using.

Conclusion: This is a quick sew project. The collar may give a beginner difficulty since Ottobre doesn't have illustrations. However, if you have a collared shirt from one of the Big 4 pattern companies, you could just refer to that and not have any problems. This pattern is well drafted and all seams matched perfectly with no surprises.

Thank you all! I have found that most of my tops are t-shirts and I am in need of blouses! I started sewing some for my girls and then thought, hey, I can do the same for me!
