|Pattern Description: "This pattern is for a boat neckline kimono sleeved T-shirt with short sleeves. It has negative ease at the bust, but has a loose fit over the waist and hips."|
Pattern Sizing:XS-4XL. I made a size XS
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow?Yes!
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?I like the fit and style of the finished product. I also liked that I did not have to set-in (or attach) a sleeve. It is a simply constructed top with nice results.
Fabric Used:Lightweight Value knit from Hancock Fabrics
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:I had to tweak the pattern a bit in order to achieve the best fit for my body frame because my shoulders are on the broad side. I ended up with:
Forward shoulder adjustment 3/8"
Square shoulder adjustment 1/4"
Waist enlargement 1"
Broad shoulder adjustment 1/2"
Added length to front/back pieces 1/2"
Moving forward, I don't think I need that much of a forward shoulder adjustment, so I could decrease that some, but I love the fit I achieved!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?Yes! This is definitely a TNT!!!!!!!
Conclusion: Overall, this is a wonderful basic top that can fit seamlessly into any wardrobe. For more info, please visit my sew-filled blog!
