Pattern Description: Layered knit dress in sleeveless or three-quarter sleeve.

Pattern Sizing: 6-12

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, the instructions are great.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
It is fun to put this dress together and quite easy to match the layers at the side seams if you lay the front and back out side by side and sew each layer one by one.
Fabric Used:
A cotton jersey knit from Mood fabrics.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None, just added a little daisy trim because the dress just seemed to shout "summer"!

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? This is the second time I have made this dress. The first time, I hemmed the layers and this time, I tried it without hemming. It lies smoother with the layers unhemmed but I did hem the bottom.

Conclusion: This is a fun pattern to make. To avoid having the dress get too heavy, I use a featherweight four way stretch jersey for the base layer since that layer never shows.

So wonderful to see this pattern made by and worn by a normal sized person. I rejected this pattern when I first saw the Vogue model. The fabric and color choice were not flattering to the anorexic model. Vogue might do well to observe what our Pattern Review community creates.
