Wow! You're giving me far too much credit for your excellent work. Your skills are advancing at breakneck pace. I agree that it is difficult to get a non-wavy hem with some knits and, like you, I am eyeing those coverstitch machines! Have you tried steam a seam lite? I've had good luck with it. I love sewing knits, especially for children. Connie Long, in Sewing with Knits, says it's not difficult to sew knits, just different. Keep up the great work!

The first legging I made was a wadder b/c I used regular 3/8 inch elastic-the Pattern Notions didn't specify 3/8 inch "sew through" elastic-so I thought any old elastic would do. NOT. Thanks to AnneM at the message board I was able to find the correct elastic. http://sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/sewingclasses/board.pl
