Pattern Description: Misses' top, pull-on full/slim skirts and pants. A Just4Knits pattern.

Pattern Sizing: Size A (6-16)

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, very much. The pattern begins with some tips on sewing knits. Therefore, I used a combination of straight and zigzag stitches.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I made it according to the pattern instructions except that I eliminated the gathering detail at center front. However, to make the neckline sit flat I converted the round neckline to a v-neck by folding the front neckline in half (right sides together) and stitching a line straight up from the fold, making a dart.

Fabric Used: "Antique Bronze" jersey knit from Fabric Mart and matching Gutermann 100% polyester thread in #870, Goldston from Jo-Anns.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: When I last made this pattern I ended up altering the sleeves to fit me better. Therefore, I suggest making a muslin first.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I would still recommend this pattern, as long as you make a muslin first in a size smaller than you would normally select according to your measurements. However, since my first one was made out of an oversize top, the fitting problems I had could very well have been from that. So you may have no problems at all.

Conclusion: A great shaped top.

I like your top! I was interested in seeing how you managed the gathering because that kicked my butt! Thinking now I may leave it out also. The sleeves were too baggy on me. Thanks for the review
