Pattern Description: A PatternReview exclusive, the Summer Street Dress is everything you want in a cool summer dress. Easy to sew, with an optional contrast panel in the front, this kimono sleeve knit dress with a scoop neckline has endless possibilities. Sew as is for a sweet dress that you’ll wear everywhere. Lengthen the skirt, and you have a maxi that’s right on trend!

This is my 4th dress from this pattern and I have another one planned which I will review next week.

2nd version (the color blocked green dress)

Polka Dot (my favorite so far)

I've even made a peplum top from this pattern!

This version couldn't be simpler. I just drafted a full circle skirt and sewed it on (like the peplum top ). You can either draft your skirt using the free app from By Hand London or use my peplum top method.

I left the sleeves and hem raw. More so because its a tad short but it still works.

Because the print is so busy, I like to wear a belt and chunky jewelry with it to add a pop of color.

The clear elastic in the waist seam is a must because otherwise the waist seam won't be snug. As you can tell, I am a heavy user of CE Can't help it, love the stuff.

    Fabric Used: ITY print from

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I am making another version with a quarter circle skirt and fabric belt.

Conclusion: This was one of the fastest dresses I've sewn and I encourage you to try it. Super simple and super easy. Can't even tell they are all the same pattern can you?
