Pattern Description:

Misses tops in two lengths with neckline variations and tie belt. I made view B.

Pattern Sizing:

8-16, 16-24. I cut a straight 14

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?

Were the instructions easy to follow?

Yes! I made this last March for the first time. I had been sewing for like a month! I thought the yoke instructions were the most confusing thing EVER then

But looking at them again, if you just follow the directions, it's fine. Perhaps a rank beginner would be a little confused, but just follow along and it'll work out.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

NO dislikes.

I love the cowl, the light gathers at the back and the pleats at the front shoulder. I love the slight cut-on sleeve. It has a nice shape too and the length is flattering.

Fabric Used:

Found on Hancock's flat fold table. It sort of moves like rayon challis. Could be some sort of poly blend too though...

It's pretty

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:

I changed the yoke a little so I could do the burrito method. This because I didn't want to switch to white thread for the serger. I have two other "black projects" to finish

No other changes.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?

This used just about 1.5 yards of fabric and went together very quickly in between making dinner.

The very slight cowl is flattering and you don't have to worry about it dipping too low.

I'll be actively looking for more lightweight fabrics for a couple more of these!

LOVE. I'm allowing the bias to hang a bit before hemming. Can't wait to wear this one!

Thank you! I really wanted to wear this today...but I knew I should wait and let it sit before hemming. Sigh...I'm totally an "instant gratification" sewer!

Lovely!! Your blouse looks awesome. I've made this same pattern 3 times and wear all 3 tops a LOT. I embroidered the yoke/shoulder of one of my tops to coordinate with the contrasting fabric of the cowl bodice.
