Pattern Description: Princess seamed blouse, dolman sleeve and collar
Fabrics: Cotton, novelty fabrics, linen blends

I made View B with the collar from View C

Pattern Sizing:10-22
According to the Burda chart, my measurements indicated that I was a 10 bust, 14 waist and 16 hip. I cut a 10 transitioning from 10 at the bust to 14 at the hem where there was allowance to do so. I needn't have bothered as the hem is quite flared from the waist. A straight size 10 would suffice

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Overall, I think so, although the drawings don't indicate that the blouse has forward shoulder seams

Were the instructions easy to follow? Apart from looking to see how the sleeve was finished, I only glanced at them.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I bought it for the flounced version, but made this one to try out the fit. I'm not particularly fussed with the result. It has forward shoulder seams which aren't usually a problem for me. Even on the model it was difficult to place them forward enough. As a result the front appears to be higher than the back. There also seems to be an excess of fabric across the back that looks a bit weird on the model

Fabric Used: Noil silk from Stonemountain & Daughter, Berkley

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I shortened it by 2.5cm. I left off the top, bottom and collar buttons. The bottom one ended up too close to the hem and as I never button collars to the neck, the two at the top were superfluous

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I doubt that I'll make it again and I couldn't recommend it for the reasons stated above

Conclusion: A disappointing result
