Pattern Description: This is McCall's pattern 6232, copyrighted 2010. It's for a wardrobe of eight outfits for Barbie & other 11 1/2" female fashion dolls. It's the same as their pattern 8552, dated 1996, now OOP. A: Wedding dress with lace overskirt and veil with rosette trim. B: Party dress with peplums. C: Strapless evening dress with bow at waist. D: Dress with ruffle, and gloves & scarf. E: Long sleeveless dress and stole. F: Short sleeveless dress with turtleneck band. G: Coat with contrasting collar, hat, & bag. H: Gypsy costume top, skirt, & hip wrap. I made the wedding dress & veil "A" & party dress "B." "A" is on Princess Merida, and "B" is on Barbie.

Pattern Sizing: The pattern comes in one size.

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes, both looked like the ones in the drawings on the envelope.

Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, they were reasonably easy.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I like that it makes beautiful doll clothes. I have no actual dislikes.

Fabric Used: White polyester costume satin, lace, & tulle for "A;" and shell-pink polyester costume satin & chiffon for "B." The reason I chose the fabrics is that I liked them.

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I followed the instructions to the letter.

Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes, I'd like to make more doll clothes from the pattern. YEs, I'd recommend it to others.

Conclusion: The doll clothes were great fun to make. The pattern's a keeper.

Every girl, young and old, likes brides. Very nice. I have this pattern but haven't made any clothes from it yet.
