Featured in the PR book!
If you need a light table or light box on rare occasions, it's easy to assemble one using items found around the house.

Take a storage box, place a power strip with a fluorescent light in the box. Cover the box with a picture frame that includes the glass, then tape translucent paper on the glass (vellum, tracing paper, etc.). Plug in the light and start tracing.

Do NOT use an incandescent bulb as they are too hot and are a fire hazard. Use a fluorescent bulb, equivalent to a 25 watt (or less) incandescent bulb.
