The class format is hands-on using a partial model of a jacket lapel. We learned tailoring techniques including:

Interfacing - where to apply and exactly what to use
Taping the roll line - how to tape according to lapel style, bust and personal preferences
Pad Stitching the Lapel by machine
Easing sleeves using tie interfacing

Ron Collins demonstrated easy to reproduce techniques in a very clear manner, taking a lot of time to go through the reasons why the methods are most suitable. He was also extremely generous in sharing sources and his personal examples.

I would not hesitate to take another of Ron's classes. Highly recommended.
