To avoid placing a yellow flower in your armpit, or a dark patch over the crotch area, or circles over the bra cups............. well, you get the idea.

Start by cutting up your pattern tissue. Do all your standard fitting to it. Then, stand in front of a mirror and hold your tissue in front of you. Pin it on if you need to. Put your hand on whatever part of your body you are hoping not to emphasize, and then draw a circle onto the tissue.

The tissue is sort of sheer, so this allows you to use any type of print you care to use.
By the way, this is not really a time saving tip, I think of it as wadder prevention :-)

Good idea. It's better to be proactive, to avoid these unfortunate errors.

What a great idea! I usually am aware of where I place the tissue on the fabric, but sometimes miss. This is a much better way and since I do tissue fittings, not much of a time "user" for me.
