This was the 36th year of this festival which is completely volunteer run. It is held at St. Micheal's College and Champlain Valley Exposition Center in Essex Junction, VT. Top name teachers, loads of vendors, outstanding quilt displays and more made this a wonderful and educational few days.
Dorms or local hotels housed the participants who traveled from all over the world to attend. Classes were held at both venues and covered a whole variety of topics and techniques.
If you're a quilter I'd recommend you put this on your vacation plans for 2013! |

The 2013 dates are June 28-30, FYI. I was there, too. Stayed with 7 other quilt friends at Green Mountain Suites, as the 8-person suites at St. Mike's are being renovated.

Megquilts...next year I hope the Collegge will be hosting more guests - this year is an amazing year of construction at the college for sure - noise and life abound! Glad you made the show. We should try for a mini-PR meetup next year! m:)
