I wanted to like the class and there were some really great parts, but the way it was structured made the it frustrating to follow. I am guessing the idea was that you had to watch the whole thing before starting anything, but I prefer classes that I can follow and do a sew-along.
Over-all, there are some things I learned, and since I got the class at half of an already pretty good price I am not too upset, but if you are considering taking the class, review the lessons to get an idea of what order you should be doing things. Depending on the way it is presented will only lead to frustration.
Pictures of the handbag I made are posted here: http://thesewinglab.blogspot.com/2013/03/class-review-design-your-own-handbag-by.html |
I appreciate your advice to not start until you have watched all the lessons. I looked at your photos. I think your bag is gorgeous. Seriously. Love the use of the old jump rope. Thanks for recycling.

I had the same problem with this class. I had to watch it all again and make notes about the construction order. I really hated to do that because my internet is limited to 5 gigs per month so I ended up buying a laptop that I could take to my local library and use their WiFi. This wasn't exactly a cheap solution, but I had wanted one anyway. By the way, I detest Windows 8.
