Monica is a far better writer than I, but I second her review. I hope to see this event again in the area - all the educators were great. I am personally very drawn to bra and lingerie sewing, and therefore feel compelled to highlight these even though every teacher was dedicated and excellent and FUN! I took Anne St Clair's (of Needlenook Fabrics) bra making class for the second time to be custom re-fitted after weight loss. She has a true life mission and love for bra fitting... I encourage anyone who has bra fitting issues to jump in and try it, especially if you have a chance to take one of Anne's classes (or from her daughter, Monica Bravo of Bravo Bella bras). It is easier than you might think, especially with the "Bra Lady" to guide you through your first bra no matter HOW LONG IT TAKES... She and Janet stayed until every single woman had their completed bra, hours after class was due to be over and a few of us with some sewing and machine/physical disabilities needed someone to step in and sew for us for a while. I also would like to highlight Jan Bones of Lingerie Secrets patterns... a "too-well-kept secret" pattern company! She taught a fun and easy nighty class (I love my tropical print nighty!) I also love every single one of her patterns (and I am very picky about undies) and own nearly all of them. Don't let the simple line drawings and lack of photos fool you... they are well drafted and easy-to-sew undies, camisoles, clothing and nighties... my personal favorite is the shelf bra camisole - GREAT bust cup sizing options for nearly all the patterns and the finished products are just beautiful!
