How to teach it. A class about teaching crafts by Gwen Bortner.
I signed up for this class because I was going to give a presentation to my sewing guild on altering patterns and realized that I needed some help to develop the outline. (Actually I was getting desperate as the time to give the presentation was looming ever closer and I was having problems figuring out where to start.)
This class had everything I needed to give my presentation. I was able to create my outline, learned about props to add visual aids, there should be handouts and even how to set up the area to best advantage.
Thank you Gwen Bortner.
There are 10 lessons in this class.
The business of Teaching, Class Development, Project Development, Marketing, Teaching Logistics, Personal Best Practices, Best Practices in the Classroom, Going National and Tips for Shop Owners.

When I looked at the lesson titles I didn't think that I would utilize all of them but after watching the lesson I found information in each lesson that helped with my sewing presentation.

Anyone teaching a sewing class can learn a lot from this class. There are aspects to teaching a craft class that I had not even considered.
