Have you bought anything from this store? If yes were the prices competitive?Yes, I purchased several lengths of fabric and a few of the Frixon pens

Were the sales people polite and friendly?Very helpful and very friendly especially during a particularly busy event

How would you rate the quality of the item this store sells? Very good quality, nice selection of fashion fabrics.(.my particular area of interest.) ITY knits, nice weight and a variety of colors of ponte..important in Florida. Very nice selection of cottons both for quilting and garment sewing. I thought they were all well priced.

How was your shopping experience. Is there anything you did not like about this store? No negatives

Would you shop here again?Absolutely!

Would you recommend this store to others?Absolutely!

Any other comments you would like to add?My friend and I attended a trunk show given by Sandra Betzina. She was at this store for 5 days giving classes, fitting tee shirts, pants.Sadly we were only able to attend this 1 class. The classes were also, I believe, filled..women are anxious for garment sewing inspiration! Anyone who has ever attended a SB class knows how gracious and generous Sandra is with her time and hands on advice One has the opportunity to try on her garments and Sandra answers any fit/fabric question honestly and with great humor. I had the pleasure of attending several of her classes when I lived in RI. Sandra was wearing one of her tops that had stretch mesh sleeves and this store actually carries it! Sold out but expecting more. They will mail me mine when it comes in.

This store has many classes scheduled , many based on Bernina and Viking machines; both of which they carry and service. Classes included quilting, embroidery, home dec and garment construction.Let me focus on the garment classes: One Seam pant, Tailored pants, Marcy Tilton layered top; Louise Cutting's A New Dimension jacket, LC's By Popular Demand jacket; Loes Hinse jacket; a Koos jacket; zippered T; Perfect T; many variations on the T.

They will order any patterns you may want but carry many quilt patterns and some Kwik Sew that are featured in classes. They do not stock the Big 4.

I lived in MA and RI for 40 years. Moving to FL has been wonderful in all aspects except for the lack of garment sewing stores. I was in heaven!

OMG!! Thanks for reviewing this sewing store! It's right up the street from the new Hancocks! Need to head south (from Sarasota) and see these wonderful places. Wish I'd known about the SB class! Great info about the garment knits they carry. Would love to know which garment patterns they offer.
