Have you bought anything from this store? If yes were the prices competitive? I purchased a couple of pieces of fabric for a tablerunner as well as a couple of Atkinson Designs quilting patterns. The prices were similar to the other quilt shops I had visited on this trip.

Located on the extreme west end of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Ironwood is just inside the Michigan/Wisconsin border (Hurley, WI is on the other side). Fabric Patch is located in a 2-storey store in an older historic building (not sure what it used to be but it maintains the appearance of "rooms" within both levels so may very well have been a private residence at one time)

Were the sales people polite and friendly? The sales person was fantastic and helped me find a fabric I was looking for to finish off the fabric group for a tablerunner. I visited this shop during the Wisconsin Quilt Shop Hop and although not physically in Wisconsin, they offered a 20% discount to any shoppers who were participating in the Shop Hop -- you just had to show your "passport".

How would you rate the quality of the item this store sells? Top-notch quality fabrics, notions and other quilting supplies including a good selection of quilting patterns, as well as finished products available for sale.

Also a certified Husqvarna Viking dealer and software specialist and has a sewing machine technician.

Classes are offered -- the upstairs appears to be mostly classroom space although there was one "room" that had seasonal fabrics and flannel and then another room with the juvenile/baby prints. Great decor and tons of really good lighting.

How was your shopping experience. Is there anything you did not like about this store? No dislikes at all -- shopping experience was great. They carry T-shirts with some quilting/sewing specific phrases on them.

Would you shop here again?Definitely when in the area.

Would you recommend this store to others? Worth a stop if you are in the neighbourhood.

Any other comments you would like to add? The woman who was working not only knew her quilting .... she also knew the location of an excellent coffee and pastry shop which was a must before we got back on the highway again.
