How is the web site look & feel / user friendliness? Is it easy to surf?
Beautiful website, I especially like the look of the zoom and that there are multiple photos of the fabric that can be zoomed. The prices shown in red are for .25 meters so you must take that into account. Using the websites tags can be a bit confusing because this will only return the matching fabric in the category you've already selected. Usually I will just page through all the categories so nothing is missed.
Is this a commercial web site? If yes how are the prices? Do they have a secure shopping cart?
This is a commercial web site and the prices are on the high side. Though if you are paying in dollars you'll get a bit of a break with the exchange rate. You also get a little more fabric since it is sold in meters instead of yards. Tessuti stocks a lot of unusual designer fabric which is why I have bought from them. The shopping cart is secure.
How is the customer service?
Customer service is very good. Once a fabric disappeared from the website the day I was going to place an order. Decided to email and ask if they had more in one of their retail locations. I got a reply the same day saying yes they had more and how much would I like.
Have you bought anything from this web site? If yes, was the item delivered on time?
Yes I have. It took a week for the package to come from Australia to Pennsylvania (mailed on Monday and was delivered to my door the following Monday) The knits were lovely and had the European quality that is hard to find in the states.
Would you recommend this site to others?
Yes, I would recommend this site as a place to find the unique and unusual.

Tessuti's is one of my all time favourite fabric stores (I live in Australia). They stock beautiful fabric and while some prices can be steep, they are commensurate with the quality of the fabric. I recently bought a woollen fabric that was made in the same factory that produces fabric for Chanel, and while it wasn't cheap, it was considerably cheaper than your average Chanel dress. The staff are always very attentive and professional, so I would assume that on line customer service would be just as good. I highly recommend them.
