Just received my third, and last, order from Trim Fabric. Everything I've purchased has been slightly on the cheesy side--and not a bargain by any stretch. Five yards of red fusible interfacing, delivered in a wad with grease marks down the center. A variety of rayon knits, each one flimsy and off-grain. And the most recent disappointment: two yards of "Italian Black Super Smooth Dress Fabric, 80%rayon 20%polyester" priced at $9.10 per yard ("marked down from $26") that looks like neoprene and feels like plastic. A burn test indicates the content is closer to 95% poly/5% rayon. Threw the fabric into washer and dryer hoping to soften it up, but it's impervious. Tested to see if curved seams will press flat and smooth--no dice, even with a tailor clapper. Lots of tempting-looking stuff here (with prices that make it even more tempting), but I recommend ordering a small quantity first to be sure you like it.
