How is the web site look & feel / user friendliness? Is it easy to surf? The site was easy to use. I was able to navigate easily/ However, if you have nay items listed in your wish list, the site shows it out of stock, even if it isn't
Is this a commercial web site? If yes how are the prices? Do they have a secure shopping cart? Yes , it is a commercial web site. their prices are the highest for patterns. Wait for their sales. They happen every month.
How is the customer service? I was not impressed. I ordered a pattern for my sewing class. It arrived and the pattern included was only 2 torn pieces of the pattern. First off, the receptionist was great. She transferred me and the lady there disconnected the call. Not impressed, When I called she said she would ship out to me the pattern (only) this week. No apologies, no show that this was rare and that she cared. When I told her that this pattern was for my sewing class starting this week and that I had bought all the notions and fabric, and was left with no patter, her response was that the best she could do was put it on the truck this week. It will take 3 weeks to arrive. I said this was my 1st time purchasing from them and was this normal. She said "yes, 3 weeks is normal" I told her that I was referring to the fact that they sent me 2 torn pieces of paper instead of the pattern.
Have you bought anything from this web site? If yes, was the item delivered on time? First time
Would you recommend this site to others? Maybe, if you can not buy them locally at a comparable price. here in Quebec they are not sold as there is no French in it. I would have to drive to Cornwall, Ontario. $30 for gas VS $4-$8 for shipping......
