I'm trying to bind a leotard neckline using Jalie method( fold over and topstitch) with my new babylock Coverstitch machine... every time I stop to unpin, it skips a stitch, ...is this a tension issue ( not real good at that) or something else ? I'm using 80/12 needles , wide twin setting, nylon spandex is fairly thin...

You may want to ask this question on the Machine thread. There are some real machine experts there.

Do check your Babylock manual as coverstitch machines use special needles. I have an Elna coverstitch machine and use the ELX705 needles.
