I wrote a review for New Look pattern #6470. When I entered the number, the picture that came on was a top and skirt. The pattern I made was a top such as a tunic top. Therefore, it looks like I'm out in left field with my review and the picture that is showing. I did put the correct picture under the "More info provided by sherri930". I don't know what to do????

I just searched for that pattern. Umber and the more current pattern you described showed up.

The "why" is because numbers eventually get re-used and maybe the newer numbered pattern wasn't yet updated. Most of us would not think you were out in left field somewhere. We would just look at the pattern image you posted and guess that you were either using an older pattern or a very new one.

What Eleanor said. We've all read enough reviews to know that this happens sometimes--if the garment photo is wildly different than the pattern envelope, it's a pretty good clue. (I'm looking at my copy of M4545, which is a quilt; nothing actually comes up here on PR, it's that old, but a Google search brings up a toddler dress!).

A note in the review is helpful, too! :)

Don't worry about it.
