Looking for some drapery sheer for a decorating project at church. I need 76 yards! I am looking specifically for some white drapery sheer type fabric. It would need to be the type that has the wrinkle look, because it would get thaty way anyway since we will have to put it up and take it down each week and would get wrinkled during storage anyway. We have some local places that have discount drapery, but I can't find the quantity I am looking for. The most I find in one spot is about 50 yards. I have seen some double-wide fabric - that would be ideal. Any ideas of some online sources that I might find what I am looking for. The other criteria is that it be fairly inexpensive.

If it's double wide do you only need half of 76 yards??

drapery sheer fabric at Fabric.com

Check this out and see if you find what you need.

Mary, I would like the double-wide for the fullness. I plan on leaving the selvages on. I don't want to get into having to finish the cut edge of that length of fabric. So, even if I can get double-wide, I would still need 76 yards.

NurseLRT just put in a post about home dec fabrics that might fit your bill. It's called Housefabric.

I put in a link to the sheer fabrics. It requires a minimum 25 yard minimum to it looks like it will fit your purposes. And just the plain ordinary sheers appear to be inexpensive.

In reply to BeckyW
I have called and received swatches from In-Weave but haven't ordered. This looks like a good price on Crushed voile solids. Also, they are probably a big enough store to have these in volume.

oh, they also have $2.99 60" White Voile Sheer

I wonder if you can get a price break for volume.
