Anyone know where I can find a basic suit pattern for very large size men?

Simplicity used to make xl size menswear patterns. It might be worth looking on one of the secondhand pattern sites to see...otherwise, I'd suggest using patternmaking software like TailorMade or Garment Designer.

You did make a muslin, didn't you?

Wow! that was quick!

Can you suggest any used pattern sites for me to check out?

The largest I've found in standard catalogs like Vogue is 50.

I saw the discussions y'all were having about M-sewing.

Maybe that would work for me rather than buying software myself. Is the software expensive?

There is a website out there that offers large size men's patterns. I think Els posted it the last time this question came up. I tried to find the thread but didn't have any luck, so I would do a google search for the site maybe.

Another option perhaps, though not ideal, would be to figure out how to grade a pattern up. If it is a simple pattern with straight line seams, like a man's shirt would be, I don't think it is too hard to do. You would just need to find an article or book that has the step-by-step instructions.

I have never seen a suit pattern in a 62 size but there are some sources like Polar bear patterns, maybe you can find there what you are looking for.
I have no idea if they are well drafted.

Patterns for large men

If you can not find the pattern you need you can always order one made by a patternmaker/tailor.
