Hoping someone can help! When I turn my Janome 11000 on, the power comes on, but in front of the usual screen is a message that says "Raise presser foot and needle bar and turn power on again". I have done this, but continue to get the same screen. This is the first time this has happened.

This error code applies to several models and while I've never had it appear on my machines I remember reading in forums that dust/fluff/lint may have built up on the sensor, in which case you need to clean the sensor area and hope this does the trick. If that doesn't help, then the stepping motor might need replacement, this can be done by your dealer or any good sewing repair shop.
Hopefully someone with a better suggestion will come along.
ETA....just checked further but if you scroll down to the bottom of P2 here there are some things to check.
Hope this helps?

Thank you so much for those suggestions. I will try them and see what happens!

I have a Janome 10001 and it usually meant a sensor was off and a trip to the shop.

Thank you, Nana Anna and Quilting Wolf. I have tried a few things, but it looks like I'm headed to the shop!
