I'm going to Portland Fashion Week and would love do garment sewing related activities! I'm making a vacation out of it. I've found a fabric shop that I think has a sewing studio I can use. Let me know if anyone knows of any other fun things I should check out!

Yes, I am planning on going. I haven't decided whether to attend all 5 days. I'll probably go up on Wednesday and attend through Saturday. I used to live in Portland so I know where some of the remaining fabric stores are. Mill End Store is always a good place to visit. Also there is Powell's Books. They have a lot of books on fashion. I'll be driving up from Boise, Idaho
