When searching for a pant pattern, I came across this "article" on pant fitting. I thought it was very clear on the different issues that sewists come across when trying to make pants fit properly. Very good illustrations too. Always like to share when I find something useful.

Thanks! I'm going to try my first pair of pants after I finish up my two WIPs.

My personal challenge is to make 10 garments from stash Fabrics before buying any new fabric.

1. Blue striped floral sateen --> ITS Melrose Dress
2. Red, White and blue denim--> Burda 6475
3. Forest green linen blend-->McCall's 7603
4.. Black and white stripe suiting --> SW 8th Ave.

Your welcome Jacueline! Although I've been sewing a long time, and have made pants before, I still consider myself a beginner....I always like to contribute when I can.
Good Luck on your pants!!

Thanks for sharing this! I haven't been brave enough to try pants yet but saved the article for future reference.

Sweet! She seems to have covered all the bases. Very helpful image drawings of drag lines and then fixes.
