Can anybody tell me what this stuff He’s like? Is it similar in weight and feel to craft paper, tissue paper, or what?

It's the weight of inexpensive printer paper. It's not as transparent or lightweight as tissue paper. I'm not really sure what craft paper is so I can't make a comparison.

I took a pattern drafting class years ago and they sold us a roll of paper like this. It was much larger and weighed a ton and I still have some! It is not see-through, but is sturdy paper.

I agree. It’s not as “pliable” as medical exam paper and a bit more opaque. I used it with a tracing wheel to transfer final fitting seam lines to create a pattern block. Now I have a giant roll, too!! Ha! Ha!

If you read all of the questions and reviews of the product, it seems it is see-through enough to trace patterns and slightly heavier which can be a good thing if you're tissue fitting, it won't tear as easily like regular Big 4 pattern paper does.
