Thought I'd ask before I try.... (Moderated by Sharon1952, EleanorSews)

Ok, ok, I admit it, I was kinda dumb for sending my sweet little Singer 403a off to the "spa" for a well deserved cleaning/maintenance sesh without having a proper backup in place. Because OF COURSE I'm having the perfect sewing storm here (personal sewing withdrawal, my daughter wants to learn how to sew all of a sudden, and I can't figure out which one of our 100 remaining moving boxes has my Husqvarna Emerald in it. Which....probably also could use a spa day after all these moves.)
Since the only mechanical machines I could find in the local thrift shops are Touch & Swears (I will never forget how that machine drove my mom up the wall and I refuse to bring that kind of evil into my house), I thought I'd get something online.
That's when I ran into a Mueller Ultra Stitch machine on Amazon. $89. I've never heard of Mueller sewing machines before. They've been terrific for some of my kitchen appliances, but....how does that carry over to a sewing machine? IDK.
Ok, the 4 reviews on it are pretty good, and it supposedly has a lifetime guarantee, whatever that means. I *think* it was meant for sale mainly in other countries besides the US, because the only other places it has been reviewed (again, highly), was in Bahrain and South Korea.
I don't want to do anything real fancy - just sewing up some dresses and maybe a few little learning projects for my daughter. If she could take the thing with her when she eventually heads off to college, that's a plus.
Have any of you ladies and gentlemen had any experience with this make or model?

So many patterns, so little time.....
Trying to have a 50 yard deficit in my stash this year. Currently up...22. Oops. At least I've sewn 8 of the giant pile so far.
Proud caretaker of a Singer 403a (Bullet), a Singer 15-125 (Clover), a Husqvarna Emerald 118 (the Valkyrie), and....still looking to add to the collection, tbh.

In reply to AirKoryo
No experience with the Mueller, Austria sewing machine not manufactured in Austria.
I only read the long description. To me it sounds too good to be true. I would make sure I can get all my money back, if the machine doesn't work well.

I was afraid the "too good to be true" thing applied. It probably does. Aaargh.
