I want to draft a high back for a dress. Any links or walk through would be appreciated. ![]()
Basically, like a Cersei Lannister dress - the red and mauve dresses.

Can you give us a URL or three for examples?

So a standing collar on a v-neck? Since it doesn’t fold down it’s an easy, intuitive construction. Measure the neckline length the collar will insert into. Then that should be a horizontal line on the draft. Then choose the collar height at back neck and make a second horizontal line that distance above. Mark the length of the back neck at the center of each line. The collar is full height in this section. The collar tapers down to nothing at both sides, so draw a gradually tapering line.
To sew you would have a self facing and the outer layer should be interfaced. (I’ll try to ad a picture soon)

With a great wardrobe that's still in the flat-fabric stage.
