I have been searching online for fabric for a blouce. JoAnn's of course had nothing nice. I came across Silk Gazar and it looks great ! Would this be good for a blouse or is it too sheer? I live in Florida so I am looking for something lightweight.

It is lightweight but stiff like organza. About the same if not a touch more stiff than organza. If you fold a piece over on itself the folded end won't lay flat on itself but holds a roll until you press it flat. Hopefully that will give you an idea of the stiff factor.

I bought two yards of it for a dress and discovered it would need to be underlined and/or lined. It is sheer, but it is beautiful too.

Thanks, it sounds lovely, but maybe not for a blouse... Maybe I'm just having fun deciding. I love to fell fabrics myself, but that's next to impossible now. This was from Denver, so maybe I'll just get a swatch to see for myself.
