Has anyone tried them on? What is the point? Is there a pattern for them?

Ok, obviously I am out of the fashion loop. Do you have any pictures of this? Now, I am curious.

It doe not look like the pants are twisted, the grain line is correct but the inside seam is drafted towards the back starting above the knee, while the outside seam is placed towards the front. You can redraft a pants pattern if you want to copy that design.jeans example

I imagine that would result in some interesting looking pattern pieces.

... but what do I know?

That would torture me. No matter how much I knew it was deliberate it would look like bad cutting.

A few years back, there were Levi's that were even a lot more twisted. I had a friend who had some and they looked great. I remember the 'sideseam' running across the calf and in the middle of her front lower legg. On the upper legg, the seams were more complicated, making for a very fitted pair of pants. don't know if they are still available.

Vogue has a pattern for that....
V8202
I'm in the middle of making the regular version so I can't tell you how they turn out, but it defintely looks like what you are talking about.

Thanks for the pattern number. These jeans are intriguing.
