I went to this web site today and they have a lot of very interesting patterns and ideas. It is called "see it, sew it"

I have this pattern and you could probably adapt an existing pattern pretty easily. The yoke piece would best be described as an oval with indents for the armhole shaping. The yoke piece then folds over to form a self facing. The cowl effect is really quite subtle, with the fold enxtending straight across from the shoulder. There is no yoke on the back, just the basic sheath dress back. Hope that helps.
