I just can't tell from the FM picture. Does anyone have the peacock tri/poly at home?

I think I got some "peacock" tri/poly in a FM bundle.
I would describe it as teal.

I have some. It's dark teal. Beautiful stuff.

Thanks Kathy and Debbie. That's what I was hoping.

What is triacetate/poly like? I keep wondering about this material every time I visit FM. I don't think I have any in my bundles. Is it like a polyester for blouses or pants? Or is it very different.

Patzee, here's a link to a recent discussion about triacetate/poly from FM. Click here for the thread. I haven't touched it yet, but I am looking forward to it!

Is this fabric soft/drapey enough to make Textile Studio Basic Pant?? Or is it too thick or stiff? And would it qualify as a year-round fabric?
Those pants have an elastic waist and I don't need any more "rolls or ruffles" around that part of me!!
I see the nice drapey black polyfiber for pants on the TS site but got a sample and it's sorta thinnish. And the EOS doubleknit rayon 4-way (I love the feel of it) but some on this board says it pills!!!
Any suggestions?

Yes, it would be great for pants. I don't know that I'd say it was a year-round fabric, because that depends on what weight you get. In my FM black bundle, there were three different cuts, all three were different weights. One was dress/light pants weight, one was pants/light jacket weight, and the other has me completely puzzled because it's a sheer gauze.
The latest two cuts I've gotten are both dress/light pants weight.

The peacock was gone by the time I got there so I ordered the taupe. Debbie I didn't know they were different weights. Oh well. I'll find something to do with whatever I get.
