What kind for knit tops (Moderated by EleanorSews)
Re: Stretch Lining (posted on 9/26/06 6:20 PM ET)
If you are going to underline a lacy stretch top, what kind of fabric is used? A microfiber? Does anyone have an online shop where they buy it? I just boughta top today and it was underlined in a very sheer stretch type of fabric. I have many projects and fabrics lined up that will need knit lining.

Hi Jill
I made a lace sweater-knit top last year and lined it with one of the nylon/lycra blends that Linda at EOS carries. It's a little thicker that what you're talking about, but I loved it. Very soft and drapey. Linda looks like she's started carrying a few more sheer options, and an email I just received from her says that white stretch mesh is on the way, too.
