Some lovely, some goofy, all with commentary (Moderated by Deepika, EleanorSews)

OK...this is an unevenly funny Blog and--a warning- it's sometimes pretty tasteless, but I did laugh out loud pretty often as I read it.
It's funnier when you read it by decade by decade rather than sequentially, as it was written.
The craft patterns are particularly atrocious. Remember crochetted toilet tissue "cosies?"
The women who do this blog have a book coming out next week.

I am going for a level of perfection that is only mine... Most of the pleasure is in getting that last little piece perfect...Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just keep showing up and doing the work.

This is a scream! I found it suitably tasteless and was doubled over with laughter. This is my kind of humor. Thanks for sharing it.

If I sewed any slower, I wouldn't be sewing at all.
