I have been working on a fitted blouse from instructions by Sarah Veblen in a Threads issue #117. In the article she states to use a lengthening/shortening line for your horizontal balance line. It says that it is important to keep the bodice level all the way around the body. If the line dips at the back she says to pin a wedge in the upper back to level the line. My horizontal balance line dips in the center front and I do not know where to raise the level. Should I pin out a wedge in the upper chest or near to the waist or anywhere else? Help is appreciated. Thanks.

Are the bust points in the right place (i.e., do the darts, if any, point toward the fullest part of the bust?)

If so, then your problem is probably below the bust.

Do you need to do a small bust adjustment?
Part of doing a SBA is removing the excess length from the middle front of the blouse
