I just posted a review and noticed that two links are on the upper right near "add to wishlist, etc." What did I do wrong? I will edit to correct my links in the review itself but sure can't figure out the rest.
ETA - I've also tried editing the links in my review and not getting them to work either. I would completely delete what was there and start over. Not working.

I'm on my way out so I can't look at the code right now, but edit your review and look for a missing opening or closing bracket (the ones above the comma and period on the keyboard). That's the usual culprit.

Thanks Debbie, I'm off to bed so will check it tomorrow. After working on this for a couple hours, my eyes gave out! So I decided to just let it alone and start over.

In the pattern photo url you had typed < a href = " " > click here < / a > and that got stored in the master database thats why you were not able to change it. I've fixed it now. In the pattern reviews in the pattern url and project photo url you do not need to type the code. Only in the review body if you wish to add additional links you need to type the code. Otherwise the URL fields only ask for the http: // type URLs.

Thanks Deepika for removing the links. As for inserting links in the review itself, why do I have to type the code when the ''insert clickable link'' at the body of the review tells me to copy and paste? What am I missing here? I go to my album, get the html, paste it, name it and ''get html'', copy and paste into the review. I'm really confused and I know it can't be that hard. :confused:

You only need the code if you do NOT use the "insert clickable link" that Deepika provides.

I did use the insert clickable link - tried 3 times, being very careful to highlight and copy all. I appreciate your help in this matter. I guess I'll just have to practice more. I'll try again tomorrow with a fresh mind and leave it for now.

Rhoda,
Yes, you did that correctly.
Unfortunately, you had first already included HTML tags* in the link you put in the input box above the review text which generates the link for the pattern photo. That is what messed things up for the rest of the links afterward, and is what Deepika was explaining in her response above. The solution is to only include the "http://www.websiteurl.com" info and not anything else. You cannot use the "insert clickable link" pop-up for the pattern photo input box because it will include HTML tags. The "insert clickable link" is only for the review body text, and not for the other input boxes above that area.
Is that clearer? Let me know, and if not, I'll try again.
=====================
*An HTML tag is a formatting instruction enclosed by "<" and ">" ... it isn't the link itself.

Debbie, I think we'll name you mini Deepika for all your assistance
. I posted a message on bugs and problems about posting pix in a pattern review so I'll continue there. In the meantime, I'll try your suggestion. It's very frustrating when something won't sink in!
ETA: I'm going over to the bugs and problems thread with more of my comments.
