I've got my eye on a few Folkwear patterns, but would like to know a reliable online place other people have ordered before. Thank you.

You can buy them directly from the company, they're quite reliable.

I think sewingpatterns.com sells them also, I've always found them to be pretty reliable, although I don't buy from them very often.

Thank you. I have Folkwear patterns marked. I think I will go ahead and use them.

Denver Fabrics has many of the patterns. Just in case you want to buy some fabric at the same time!

Not right now. I did get some great wools on sale earlier, but I'm sewing what I have before I get any more fabric. I got my order in at Folkwear. I'll see how they do with it. Thanks though.

Padmé, I've never ordered them online, but Fabrique Fabrics in Richardson carries them. They're pretty easy to get to if you take the George Bush Turnpike.

NAYY, I've only bought patterns from them.

Just a note (since yours are already bought, Padme), there are usually lots of Folkwear patterns for sale on eBay at any given time. Of course what's available will vary quite a bit, but I've gotten quite a few that way with no troubles.

I looked on Ebay and didn't find the ones I needed (wanted). I haven't purchased that much on Ebay though.

Carmen, I will have to drive over one of these days. Hubby will not let me drive by myself, and I think Richarderson is about an hour over? I'm trying to stay out of the fabric stores unless I need something to help me finish what I've already got. I'd like to keep my stash on the small side.

I think the first time I was there, the round trip only took me about an hour and fifteen minutes, including the time it took to find and buy the patterns. The drive's really easy coming from our direction on George Bush.

I understand about the stash, though. I had to tell myself "First, you fit the patterns, then you can buy fabric!"

Yes, I understand. It is hard to do. Last time I needed swim elastic at Hancocks, I bought some Manager special microsuede for a Vogue skirt this fall. But I'm really trying.
