I found a skirt in the local upper-end store that was 70% cotton, 30% silk. I can't seem to find it online.... I'm interested in knowing what this is called and where I can get it. It's perfect for summer wear!

oooo. I recently bought a shirt that's a 55:45 silk: cotton blend (from Liz Claiborne), and it's just gorgeous fabric.

I got a top earlier this spring in 60/40 silk cotton, and I agree, it's lovely (and easy to take care of).
Fashion Fabrics Club has some silk/cotton blends, I think. Other likely sources are Manhattan Fabrics and Michael's Fabrics. (All are X.com, I believe.)

Are you looking for something sheer or substantial? I've seen both in RTW.
Robert Kaufman makes a 70/30 cotton/silk voile. They don't sell it on their website but I bet you could call and ask them where you can get it in your area or online.

I just saw some silk/cotton on the SawyerBrook website (one of PR's merchants)...sorry, I didn't flag it for you, but you could probably do a search on their site or call Barb for assistance at the phone number on the site.

I recently bought a 2 yard remnant of silk cotton blend from a fabric store here. It is a medium weight smooth plain weave. It's very nice. It is a large paisley floral , so I thought there was a chance it was home dec. It would make a lovely skirt, though.
