My best friend wants me to replicate her bag that she has carried for years. She has brought me the fabric and strap, an the other little stuff that it needs, I am only missing one thing. She like this bag becasue it isn't heavy and stands upright. Where can I get fusible bag stiffner that will be rigid enough to hold its shape.

Pellon makes an ultra-stiff fusible interfacing called Peltex. it comes in both fusible and sew-in types. One layer is stiff enough to a small to medium bag. You might need two layers, if the bag is more like a tote.

Timtex is very similar to Peltex, and has the same weight.
