The pattern books that are in Hancocks/Joanns...do they have different patterns than the ones that are online at Simplicity, McCall's, Butterick & Vogue? Just wondering. I saw a couple of patterns in the Simplicity book that are NOT on the simplicity site.
Thanks for any info and sorry if this is a silly question

They difference could possibly be a discontinued pattern that is still in the catalog, but not available anymore. Also, I know that there is a new Simplicity pattern (#3744) that isn't currently on the site because it was so popular that they sold out of it, however I found it in the drawer at my local Joann's over the weekend.
I hope this helps answer your question.

Also, sometimes the website has patterns that are officially 'out of print' but that they're still selling since they have a stock of them.
