I have made yoga/workout pants out of a variety of fabrics, and I've not yet made a pair that I'm completely happy with. I've used a couple of different technical fabrics from Textile Outfitters and Fabricline.com in the effort to duplicate some 88% cotton/12% lyca Verve pants I have, but they are either not stretchy enough or very shiny. What do you recommend... interlock or jersey? What weight?

I really like cotton/lycra jersey or nylon/lycra jersey for mine. My faves are nylon/lycra 90%-10% and 92%-8%. I think you're looking in the right places, although you might wish to add Seattle Fabrics and fabricdepotco.com (call Susan rather than using their website) to your list of possible sources.

I was going to try laceandfabrics.com, but haven't yet. They have the cotton spandex, with the under armour (?) the cotton wicking kind. They are also on ebay, if you type in athletic fabric you will see a bunch of their stuff.

I like the mock mesh polyester from Team Spirit Fabrics. You can find it at Hancock's online for $8 per yard. It's very similar to the light weight fabric Nike uses on some of their summer weight pants. I use this fabric for tops and pants and live in it all summer.
