I think I saw that lace jacket explained somewhere on the net how she made it. I will have to think where.

I am very grateful to all on PR! I have been challenged to stretch and learn an immense amount in the last year, even though I realize I have a long way to go. I have gained insight, encouragement, and knowledge from all the participants here.

But---mostly I am grateful for all the friends I have acquired, mostly who exist through thin air, but you can feel the hugs. I am also grateful for the members I have personally gotten to meet and touch. One in particular, Sondra AKA OPgal---my dear sewing friend, who also understands no humiliation is too great for a well fitting pair of pants.

I am grateful for posts that made me aware of what sewing actually means to me. One example is going through my mothers button collection and reminiscing, or realizing that this process is more than just sewing; it is feeding my soul!

Lastly, I am grateful for the laughter I have had at this place this last year. You all are the nuttiest bunch anywhere, and I have whaled so hard I have actually fallen off a chair crying and whooping in gales of laughter. Who could forget the stash that covers a house, or the bullet bras??? The Bible says that laughter is good medicine, and if I keep hanging around here I am going to be a very healthy person.
