Has anyone used the new Hemingworth embroidery threads?

I saw them today at my Viking dealer. I don't embroider, but the colors that caught my eye were rather garish. I assume that more of the threads aren't, but I didn't look that closely.

Our local Janome/Pfaff/Brother dealer carries this thread. I saw the entire color line and it really is nice. I'm sure they've got garish ones---Madeira and Isacord do, too.

My Bernina dealer now carries the whole line. So far, I've only used one color, but it seems to perform well in the machine. It seems just like Isacord in quality, which my dealer also carries.

I do like the packaging it comes it. But of course, more pieces to end up in the landfill. A dilemma

I've used a couple of colors; it behaves a lot like Floriani (can be a bit slippery but absolutely gorgeous.) The plastic cover doesn't do much for me since I keep all my threads put away. The color range is pretty phenomenal. If I wasn't committed to getting the whole Floriani line at the moment, the Hemmingworth would defiantly be on my list.

I am using these quite a bit, an since I work in a store where we sell them, have had a good look at the colour range.... my advice is to not go shopping when you are hungry! With names like whipped papaya, Mango, toasted almond etc.

The threads are polyester, so they should be colourfast, and I have not had trouble with them in any of my three different Janome embroidery machines.

The cat pulling on it from one end of the house to the other, however.....

I am hoping to get some feedback about Hemingworth Polyselect thread, now that it has been available for a while. Anyone been using it for a while, particularly any Bernina feedback would be useful. TIA.

Hemmingworth isn't easy to find in out area. It is a good thread and ive not heard any of my Bernina friends complain. You should be fine. (I've had some problems with Floriani, fwiw, and won't buy any more)

I have a bit of it and have no trouble in my brothers with it. I do think it's on the slightly finer side. I used it years ago in my pfaff 2170 and that was when it seemed a bit thinner. But in recent years I've wondered if it was my imagination.

Echidna embroidery has it. I found the colours very saturated but in an excellent range of shades within the colour group.. I like spool cap as well

Yes, I used it for awhile several years ago. It's a bit finer than Florani thread. I liked that the color names were marked on the cones.

I kept it on a thread wall rack because it had "covers". However the covers and little silicone plug drove me nuts!

Putting it away with the cover, making sure the plug was in place correctly----all that was a nuisance so I ended up selling it all and using the money to buy more Florani---

It's good thread if you like the packaging system.
