My mom told me she was mailing me Christmas presents that she found hidden really well under her bed. So, I came home today and my package arrived!!!

She got me: Draping for Apparel Designs - Helen Joseph-Armstrong (above my skill level) and Fit for Real People - Palmer/Pletsch

Monday made sooo much better!!!

Yeah me!!!

Wow, too much fun on a Monday. I have both of those books. I keep meaning to get the draping book out and get started on the My Pattern contest.

Hey, maybe we should all start doing this, "accidentally on purpose"! -- sounds more exciting than getting presents in December when you're expecting them.

Christmas in July!

I hide presents so good that even I can't find them. Once I hid some books for DD between some drapes that were folded nicely and not in use. I finally was ready to trade them out with the dirty drapes and wallah! there they were. I knew I had bought them but just couldn't find them. One of the books she really wanted so I bought another one for her just to keep the whining down.

PS- the drape issue- if some of you are wondering why I *trade* them out. They are down at my business (bakery) and we have to trade them out because of the flour does a number on them after a while-flour mixed with your general dust- just nasty!!

I don't mind going to work but it's that 8 hour wait to go home that's a B!TCH.
